Blocked drains are not for the faint-hearted but it is possible for the DIY enthusiast to clear them successfully, with judicious use of hire equipment and a strong nerve.

Drains are the householder’s responsibility up to the connection with the sewer. However, several households may share the same drain. The cause may be the result of one neighbour’s actions but the problem may lie within another’s property.
